About Me

Hi, thanks for dropping by!

I'm a librarian, researcher and student of Information Studies. I have always been fascinated with genealogy as an Afro-Caribbean individual curious about my ancestral lineage. Genealogy tells the story of the past, while genetics adds even more data and provides more avenues for family history research.

My research focus is on information behavior. Specifically, information adoption and use of genealogical data. How do we accept and adopt new information? How does this information affect us and ultimately affect society?

As we journey together, it is my hope that we can learn from, and collaborate with, each other in this information society.
